We’re so grateful that Dual Star is able to host a recital each year, and we hope your dancers enjoy this special experience as much as we do!

Early Recital Registration Dates:
📅 Opens Monday, November 17th
📅 Closes Friday, December 19th

Please note:

Registrations submitted after December 19th will incur a $20 shipping and handling fee.
Late orders also risk not receiving the requested costume size.
Costumes ordered after April 1st cannot be guaranteed to arrive in time for the recital.

COSTUME SIZE
Please measure your child’s girth, bust, waist, hips, and inseam with a standard measuring tape. In order to take the most accurate measurements possible, click to watch this measuring tutorial.

We use 2 different costume vendors. Please review each chart below and determine what size you want to get your dancer from Chart R and Chart W *XLC and XXLC sizes are made to fit a larger child, not a petite adult *W Chart typically does not carry “T” or “XXSC”

COST BREAKDOWN
If you are doing 1-3 dances, the set fee is: $125.00 per costume. Cost includes $105/Costume + Recital fee which includes a prorated June Tuition of $25) Sales tax included in price *Excludes any company dances

Set fee if doing 4, 5, 6 or 7 dances: $115.00 per dance. Cost includes $105/Costume + Recital fee which includes a prorated June Tuition of $10).

For example if dancer is dancing in 4 recital dances: Costume 1 = $125, Costume 2 = $125, Costume 3 = $125, Costume 4 = $115. Total is $490.00 Sales tax included in price *Excludes any company dances

Set fee if doing 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 dances: $105.00 per dance. Cost includes $105/Costume + Recital fee which includes a prorated June Tuition of $0) Sales tax included in price *Excludes any company dances

Use the cost breakdown chart above to determine your cost. Add an additional $25/garment if you are ordering a recital tee or tank. Add $20 shipping/handling fee if after Dec. 19, 2025.

Dual Star Academy of Dance – Costume & Recital Policy Summary

1. Measurements & Sizing
- Parents/guardians are responsible for providing their child’s measurements and selecting the costume size.
- Dual Star is not responsible if a costume does not fit.
2. Shipping & Deadlines
- There may be shipping delays, so it is ALWAYS best to register during the early registration period.
- If you register after December 19th, you’ll be charged an extra $20 shipping and handling fee.
- Costumes ordered after April 1st may not arrive on time.
3. Costume Ownership & Refunds
- Once purchased, costumes belong to the child — you keep them after the recital.
- No refunds will be issued unless the studio makes an administrative mistake.
- If a student drops out after registering, no costume refund will be given.
4. Payment Policies
- Costume fees are charged at registration.
- Credit Card on file will be charged. If you need to pay with a different card, you must contact Brooke@dualstardance.com before submitting your registration.
- If a credit card is declined, it must be updated before the deadline — otherwise, the form will also be discarded.
5. Lost or Stolen Items
- Dual Star is not responsible for lost or stolen items during dress rehearsal or recital.
- Items left behind will be held for 10 days after the recital, then donated to charity if unclaimed.
